Excellent performance for GCSE Students at Westcliff High School for Boys
We would like to congratulate our pupils on their excellent performance in their GCSE examinations this year. Having achieved 75% of all grades at 9-7, their results are highly impressive. A remarkable 26% of all results achieved were graded 9 (the top grade). We are proud of our pupils for their outstanding performance, and for rising brilliantly to the challenge presented by the GCSE examinations.
We are delighted that 70% of all Year 11 pupils achieved 8 or more 9-7 grades, 36 pupils achieved 12 or more 9-7 grades, and 14 pupils (Aakaash Jonathan, Varun, Adam, Conan, Divij, Frank, Sriniketh, Sebastian, Lawrence, Vincent, Aaryan, Ethan, Daksh, and Aqeel) achieved an impressive 12 9-8 grades. Varun achieved a remarkable 12 grade 9s, and Aaryan was the highest performer in the country in GCSE Economics.
We congratulate them all for these results which reflect their commitment and hard work. We would like to thank the staff at WHSB for their outstanding support for the pupils; they also deserve our congratulations for the excellent teaching and guidance they have provided.
