Half term trip to Spain
We are delighted to share some photos of those pupils currently enjoying their half term trip to Spain. On Saturday 17 February, 38 pupils from Years 10 to 13 set off for Almería, Spain, and were greeted at the airport by friends from IES Albaída, and they quickly got to know the city.
On Sunday, the pupils travelled to the Tabernas Desert and spent a relaxing day at the Mini Hollywood theme park, watching a cowboy show and seeing the animals at the park.
During a day in school on Monday, the pupils made many new friends, playing sports and ice breaker games. The flamenco show in the evening was magical.
Following a day in Almería on Tuesday, visiting two museums, the Alcazaba and the sea front, our group headed to Granada and Córdoba for spectacular world heritage attractions - La Alhambra and the Mezquita-Catedral.
The pupils are having a wonderful time and look forward to sharing more photos and accounts of their travels when they return home at the weekend. Thank you to Ms McKeown and her colleagues for organising these wonderful opportunities for our pupils.
