Royal Navy cadets prepare for the Trafalgar Day Parade in London

We are very proud of all the cadets and staff volunteers in our CCF Royal Navy Section, which has been selected as the only CCF cadet unit in the country to represent the Royal Navy as cadets in the Trafalgar Day Parade in London.

The Section is currently being trained by regular Royal Navy personnel as they prepare for this prestigious occasion, and they have been provided with special, formal uniforms for that event. This is a significant honour for the WHSB CCF and its Royal Navy Section.

Well done to all our Royal Navy cadets, and our special thanks go to Mr Hadley, who leads the Royal Navy Section, Mr Sell (SSI), Mr Baggs (Contingent Commander, WHSB CCF), and all the CCF staff volunteers who devote so much of their time towards these fantastic opportunities for our pupils.

TRAFALGAR DAY is the celebration of the victory won by the Royal Navy, commanded by Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson, over the combined French and Spanish fleets at the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805.
