Our recent Charity Events Day was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the rich multicultural community of which we are so proud at Westcliff High School for Boys, whilst also raising funds to support the work of the two charities chosen by the School for 2023: Golden Geese and the MND Association. This exciting day included lunchtime entertainment, during which students could dance, sing, present or perform to celebrate our wonderfully diverse community.

This was a highly successful day, with thanks to our students who participated wholeheartedly in the day’s celebrations. So far this year, an impressive £5,200 has been raised by the students for our chosen charities and there are further events to follow. On 8 December, we will be holding our Charity Christmas Jumper Day, which will also include Teachers’ Karaoke!

We also thank the students on this year’s Charity Committee for their excellent planning and coordination of this year’s events.
